NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metro Nashville Police are searching for the suspect in a hit-and-run accident along Church Street that seriously injured one person. The crash happened on May 18.
A 32-year-old man driving a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the scene, reports said. The pedestrian, identified as 21-year-old Zach Carach, was visiting Nashville to celebrate his birthday with family.
Carach sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized for 16 days. Authorities later found the vehicle at a rental facility in Mt. Juliet but have not located the driver.
Officials stated that the suspect faces multiple charges, including driving without a license and insurance. Authorities have not released additional details.
