Police: Texas man Daniel Longoria dies in two-vehicle wreck in Leander

LEANDER, TX, (November 23, 2025) — Daniel Longoria, 58, was tragically killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Bar W Ranch Boulevard in Leander, TX.

According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 8:18 p.m. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details have not yet been released.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Mr. Longoria’s family is now mourning his sudden and heartbreaking loss.

During moments like this, it becomes crucial for families to consult an attorney who can conduct an independent investigation, gather critical evidence, and manage communications with insurance companies — which may attempt to push for a settlement that undervalues the true worth of a wrongful death claim.

An attorney can serve as a strong advocate, offering guidance through the legal process while ensuring the family’s rights and best interests are protected.

“Insurance companies often focus on reducing their financial exposure and may overlook the long-term impact and suffering that victims’ families endure,” said Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney and Managing Partner at Bond Legal.

“Legal representation ensures that families are treated fairly and receive appropriate compensation,” added Bond, a national analyst with Accident Injury News.

Each year, approximately 36,000 people lose their lives and nearly 1.9 million are injured in motor vehicle collisions nationwide. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, speeding remains the top contributing factor in fatal crashes, followed by impairment, lane violations, failure to yield, and distracted driving.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family of Daniel Longoria may have grounds to pursue a wrongful death claim. Loved ones of wrongful death victims can seek compensation for loss of companionship, emotional suffering, and other damages connected to a sudden or catastrophic loss.

“We fully understand the challenges families face during such tragedies, and ensuring their rights are protected is essential,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “A wrongful death attorney will closely monitor the official investigation and work to safeguard the family’s best interests. Families are entitled to pursue damages for pain and suffering, emotional distress, and the loss of companionship following such a devastating event.”
