HOLLIS HILLS, NY, (April 24, 2026) — A 28-year-old Bellerose resident, identified as Davidson Torres-Suarez, was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Queens, according to the New York Police Department.
Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bell Boulevard and 86th Avenue. Investigators determined that Torres-Suarez was seated in a Toyota Corolla stopped at a red light when an Audi TT Coupe struck his vehicle from behind.
Following the impact, the Audi continued traveling southbound before striking a light pole.
Emergency responders extricated Torres-Suarez from his vehicle before transporting him to North Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
A woman and a young child who were inside the Audi were also hospitalized and reported to be in stable condition.
The 65-year-old driver of the Audi remained at the scene. No charges have been filed as the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad continues to examine the circumstances of the crash.
