Authorities identified the victim as Matthew Encinias.

FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH INVESTIGATION

According to Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney, many motorcycle crashes are preventable and frequently occur because of negligent actions by passenger vehicle drivers.

In 2023, 6,335 motorcyclists were killed in accidents, accounting for 15 percent of all traffic fatalities, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The figure marked the highest number of motorcycle fatalities recorded since at least 1975. Bond noted that independent investigations are often essential in fatal motorcycle crash cases to help safeguard the rights of surviving family members.

“Motorcyclists are among the most exposed and vulnerable people traveling on roadways, and several factors can contribute to fatal collisions,” said Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal and national analyst with Accident Injury News. “Blind spots, distracted driving, and inexperienced motorists frequently play a role in these incidents. Attorneys can coordinate expert analysis, locate witnesses, review insurance coverage, and guide grieving families through the legal process while protecting their rights and interests.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family members of Matthew Encinias may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Relatives of wrongful death victims may seek compensation for loss of companionship, emotional suffering, pain and suffering, and other damages following a tragic accident.

“We understand the emotional and financial hardships families often experience after losing a loved one,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “Ensuring that their rights remain protected is extremely important. A wrongful death attorney can follow the progress of the official investigation and help families pursue compensation related to companionship loss, emotional distress, and other damages tied to a catastrophic accident.”
