WINKLER, TX, (March 24, 2026) — Two Odessa men, Justin Michael Hall and Fernando Pando Olivas, were injured Tuesday night in a four-vehicle crash in Winkler County that also claimed one life, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said a Ford Ranger crossed into the eastbound lane of Texas 302 near milepost 336 at about 9 p.m. and collided with a Peterbilt tractor-trailer. Additional vehicles were involved in the chain-reaction crash, and the Ranger later caught fire.
Hall and Olivas sustained minor injuries and were transported to Winkler County Hospital. The Ranger’s driver, a 19-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
