COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and another motor vehicle.
Authorities identified the deceased as Elvin Irizarry Iglesias, 28. Officers found him dead at the scene under the S. Circle Drive bridge on Hancock Expressway.
Investigators said the accident occurred May 16 at approximately 10 p.m. Emergency personnel arrived to find the motorcycle rider deceased and the other vehicle’s driver injured.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. That person’s identity was not disclosed. The cause of the accident has not been determined.
The investigation remains ongoing.
