Chris Brignetti tragically killed in San Rafael cycling accident

According to data from the California Highway Patrol and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the state averages over 9,000 bicycle accidents annually. In 2022, California led the nation with 149 cycling fatalities a substantial increase from the previous year. The state recorded 8,888 bicycle accidents involving injury or death in 2022, the most recent year for which data was available.
