MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities are investigating a fatal accident involving multiple vehicles that occurred on April 30 on Grafton Road.
Brian Livingood, 45, was identified as one of the injured. He was riding a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a northbound SUV crossed the centerline and struck his vehicle. The impact caused the motorcycle to crash before the SUV collided head-on with a pickup truck.
A 21-year-old woman from Uniontown, who was driving the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 52-year-old man from Barbour County, who was driving the pickup, and his 38-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the accident.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office.
