CONROE, TX, (November 09, 2025) — Three suspects have been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed pedestrian Brett Wilborn, 46, on Sunday evening in Conroe, TX.
Police said the incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in the 200 block of North Loop 336 East. Preliminary information indicates Wilborn was struck first by a dark-colored SUV that fled the scene, then hit again by a second vehicle whose driver stopped and called 911.
After an extensive multi-agency investigation, officers arrested the 35-year-old driver of the fleeing SUV along with two associates accused of helping him evade arrest. The suspect faces several charges, including failure to stop and render aid.
Authorities later confirmed the first vehicle involved was a 2017 burgundy Chevrolet Suburban. The investigation remains ongoing.
