CORCORAN, MN, (May 22, 2026) – A Rockford woman suffered life-threatening injuries Friday in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 55 in Corcoran, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Officials said the accident occurred at approximately 5:16 p.m. near Pioneer Trail. Investigators reported that a westbound 2015 Honda Accord collided with an eastbound 2025 Hyundai Palisade, causing the Hyundai to strike a westbound 2024 Toyota Corolla and an eastbound 2007 Honda Accord.
Authorities identified the driver of the Toyota Corolla as 48-year-old Andrea Jean Berens of Rockford. Berens was transported to North Memorial Health with life-threatening injuries.
Two occupants of the Hyundai Palisade were also taken to the same hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately released. The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
