DE GRAFF, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash on July 10.
The collision occurred at 5:43 p.m. at 4th Street and U.S. Highway 12 when a Chevrolet Equinox traveling west on the highway struck a southbound Lincoln MKX traveling on 4th Street.
Allen James Sadergaski, 76, of Appleton suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident. Emergency crews transported him to Benson Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A 70-year-old Appleton woman drove the Chevrolet Equinox and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was also transported to Benson Hospital for medical care.
A 53-year-old Tyler woman drove the Lincoln MKX and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders transported her to Benson Hospital as well.
Multiple agencies responded to the accident scene. Swift County Sheriff’s Office, De Graff Fire Department, and Benson Ambulance assisted with the emergency response.
The Minnesota State Patrol continues investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision between the two vehicles.
