Agileo Morales killed after in Signal Hill car crashes into cemetery

SIGNAL HILL, CA (March 28, 2026) – A 47-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle crash early Saturday that sent a car into a historic cemetery in Long Beach, authorities said.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Agileo Dominges Morales of Long Beach.

According to Signal Hill police, the crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. at Orange Avenue and Willow Street. One of the vehicles, a black car, veered into the Long Beach Municipal Cemetery, where Morales, a passenger, died at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Each year, roadway accidents result in thousands of fatalities across the United States. While several elements play a role, dangerous driving behaviors—such as speeding, impaired driving, and distractions like cellphone use—remain leading contributors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that 8,055 people died in motor vehicle crashes during the first quarter of 2025.

As investigators continue to examine the circumstances of this crash, Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney and Managing Partner of Bond Legal, stressed the need for an independent review.

“In addition to the thorough work of law enforcement, an attorney can revisit key witness statements, assess available surveillance footage, and secure phone and texting records of the liable party,” said Bond, a national analyst for Accident Injury News.

“Time is critical in cases like this, and the victim’s family must ensure that all evidence is carefully and promptly evaluated.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the investigation, the family members of Agileo Dominges Morales may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Family members of wrongful death victims may seek compensation for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic accident.

“We understand that losing a loved one brings both emotional grief and financial strain,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal.

“If you have lost a loved one due to another party’s negligence, it is crucial to contact a wrongful death attorney to receive the guidance needed to pursue justice.”
