JASPER COUNTY, MO (May 15, 2026) — A 90-year-old Diamond woman died following a two-vehicle crash outside the city in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Highway 59 when a northbound 2015 Nissan Rogue crested a hill and collided with a westbound 2016 Chevrolet Trax.
A passenger in the Chevrolet, identified as the Diamond woman, sustained critical injuries in the collision. She was transported to Cox South Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead the following day.
The drivers of both vehicles were also injured in the crash and taken to area hospitals with moderate injuries.
Officials stated that further details were not included in the initial crash report, and the incident remains under review.
