LINCOLN, MO (April 06, 2026) – A 35-year-old Winfield man was seriously injured Monday morning in a chain-reaction crash involving multiple vehicles in Lincoln County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
Authorities said the crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. on Missouri Route 47 near Meier Road. A 2003 GMC Safari traveling eastbound reportedly rear-ended a 2015 Toyota Prius that had slowed in traffic.
Following the initial impact, the GMC crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a westbound 2022 Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycle, as well as a 2015 Hyundai Elantra.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital – St. Louis for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
