WALKER, AL, (May 16, 2026) – A 33-year-old woman was killed early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in Walker County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Authorities said Jaimee Tubbs was struck by a Honda Civic at approximately 1:20 a.m. along Highway 69, about three miles north of Oakman.
Tubbs sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details about the driver or possible contributing factors were immediately released.
