GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle accident that left two people seriously injured on Fleming Road.
Investigators said the accident happened May 22 at approximately 3 a.m. Emergency personnel transported three individuals to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities said a Cadillac was driving east on the Bryan Boulevard off-ramp to Fleming Road. The vehicle turned onto Fleming Road when an Audi struck it.
Officials identified the Audi driver as Tyler Slaughter, 26. Police said he was traveling westbound when his vehicle hit the Cadillac, injuring its driver and passenger. Slaughter sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. Authorities charged him with driving while impaired.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
