FATAL PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

California is one of the country’s most dangerous states, according to the state’s Office of Traffic Safety.

Approximately 1,158 pedestrians were killed in California in 2022, accounting for a significant 26 percent of all motor vehicle fatalities in the state. Pedestrians can be struck due to a combination of factors, including speeding, distracted driving, and impaired driving.

Candice Bond, an experienced pedestrian accident attorney, stressed that in cases like this, it is imperative to have an independent investigation conducted by a seasoned lawyer to protect the victim’s family’s rights.

“Having the proper resources is extremely important to investigate a pedestrian accident case and prove negligence,” said Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal and a national analyst with Accident Injury News. “Road conditions, signage visibility, and road lighting are all possible contributing factors that are considered and must be thoroughly examined. These procedures are necessary for helping those who have lost a loved one receive the justice and monetary compensation that they deserve.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family members of Tyana Jones may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Relatives of wrongful death victims may seek damages for loss of companionship, pain, suffering, and emotional distress after a tragic or catastrophic accident.

“We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “A wrongful death lawyer will stay updated on the official investigation and help ensure that their best interests are taken care of. Relatives of wrongful death victims are entitled to seek damages for the loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident.”
