TOWN OF BROOKLYN, WI (April 18, 2026) – A 46-year-old Fairwater man has died following a UTV crash that occurred on April 18 in the Town of Brooklyn.
According to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Timothy Kamphuis passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. He was one of three passengers in the utility terrain vehicle at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews responded shortly after 5 p.m. to the scene on Princeton Road near Honeysuckle Lane. Authorities reported that the UTV was traveling eastbound when it failed to negotiate a curve, leading to the crash.
A 40-year-old Fairwater woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining occupants included a man from Ripon and a woman from Markesan.
Kamphuis’ obituary described him as someone who “lived life boldly and to the fullest—he loved big, laughed big, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.” A celebration of life is scheduled for June 6 at Plaza Bowl in Ripon at 2 p.m.
