GREENVILLE, SC (March 29, 2026) – Tiesha Mary Freeman, 29, of Franklin, North Carolina, was killed early Sunday morning in a pedestrian crash in Greenville County.
According to the Greenville County Coroner, Freeman was struck by a vehicle just before 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 385 near Lawrence Road.
Freeman died at the scene from her injuries.
Authorities from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and Greenville City Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 7,522 pedestrians were killed in traffic crashes in 2022, the highest number recorded since 1981. Pedestrian fatalities accounted for about 17% of all traffic deaths that year, reflecting a concerning rise in roadway risks.
