SOUTH BRISTOL, NY, (April 06, 2026) – A Canandaigua man has been arrested in connection with a pedestrian crash that left a victim seriously injured earlier this month in South Bristol.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Terry S. Cole, 58, was driving a 2008 GMC Sierra southbound on State Route 64 when he struck a pedestrian walking near the northbound lane at approximately 6:03 p.m.
The unidentified victim sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that Cole was allegedly driving recklessly at the time of the crash. He was taken into custody on April 20 and charged with second-degree assault.
The case remains under investigation.
