LUBBOCK, TX, (March 25, 2026) — An 18-year-old motorcyclist, Teaguen King, was injured Wednesday night in a two-motorcycle crash in Lubbock, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
Authorities said King was riding eastbound on South Loop 289 between Quaker Avenue and Slide Road at about 8:45 p.m. when another motorcycle traveling behind him collided with his bike. Both motorcycles slid across the roadway before coming to rest.
King sustained moderate injuries and was transported to University Medical Center. The other rider and his passenger were also injured and taken to the same hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
