Stavan Facey Dies in Manatee County I-75 Crash, FHP Says

FATAL HIT-AND-RUN INVESTIGATION

Florida continues to face significant challenges with hit-and-run crashes. In 2023, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reported 104,273 hit-and-run incidents statewide, resulting in 271 deaths and 871 serious injuries. Pedestrians and bicyclists accounted for a large portion of these fatalities.
