TULSA, Okla. — Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on May 13 at 11:30 p.m. near 61st Street and Memorial Drive.
Tulsa police said a distracted driver made a sudden U-turn, causing a crash that led to severe injuries. Sidney Fuller, 18, was riding a motorcycle westbound when the other driver turned unexpectedly from the right lane on a hill. The impact caused significant damage, throwing Fuller from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders treated Fuller at the scene before transporting her to the hospital in critical condition. Officials confirmed that she suffered multiple injuries, including a broken femur and fractures.
Tulsa police reported that Fuller died from her injuries on May 21. The driver involved in the accident was unhurt. Authorities sent the case to the District Attorney to determine whether charges will be filed.
