Shaquila Reed, 25, Critically Injured in Palm Beach Two-Vehicle Crash

PALM BEACH, FL, (September 26, 2026) – Shaquila Reed, 25, was seriously injured Saturday in a two-vehicle accident in Palm Beach.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Reed, of Boynton Beach, was a passenger in a BMW X3 that was struck by a Dodge Charger driven by a 28-year-old woman at about 1:04 a.m. on Old Boynton Road.

The PBSO said the collision occurred just west of Calliandra Lane after the Dodge lost control and collided with the BMW.

Reed and the BMW driver were both critically injured in the accident. The driver and a passenger in the Dodge were killed in the collision.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

The crash remains under investigation as the PBSO works to determine what caused the Dodge to strike the BMW.

Candice Bond, an attorney specializing in accidents, has said that in cases such as this, conducting an independent investigation as soon as possible is imperative to preserve evidence.

“In addition to a police report, an attorney will carefully review what may have contributed to the crash,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “Your lawyer has the resources to hire expert witnesses, conduct driver background checks, locate witnesses to the crash, and review applicable insurance coverage. Serving as an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately guide victims during this difficult time, while protecting their legal rights.”

Each year, roughly 36,000 people die, and another 1.9 million people are injured in motor vehicle accidents in this country.

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Shaquila Reed may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, noted that the stress and concern following a serious injury can be overwhelming, affecting all areas of life, including family, work, finances, and overall quality of life.

“Although no amount of money can make up for a devastating injury, it is important that a victim is made aware of their rights and what they are entitled to by law,” Formica added. “The injured victim in this collision may be entitled to an injury claim, and they may seek recovery for damages including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
