SAINT PAUL PARK, MN, (March 27, 2026) – An 80-year-old woman was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 61 in Washington County, authorities said.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Sandra Lee Brunell was driving a Mitsubishi Mirage when it entered the traffic lane from the right shoulder around 12:01 a.m. and was struck by a BMW 328.
Brunell sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
Ms. Brunell’s family is now mourning the loss of their loved one following this tragic incident.
