Sally Lambert hurt in Mobile County crash, ALEA says

Mobile, AL – A head-on collision early Saturday in Mobile County left one person dead and another injured, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred around 2:35 a.m. on Half Mile Road near Padgett Switch Road. ALEA officials reported a 2011 Nissan Rogue collided head-on with a 2000 Toyota 4Runner.

The Nissan driver, a Grand Bay man, died at the scene. The Toyota driver, 34-year-old Sally A. Lambert of Irvington, was transported to USA Health University Hospital with injuries.

The investigation into the fatal crash continues.

HEAD-ON COLLISION INVESTIGATION REQUIRED

While less frequent than other crash types, head-on collisions often prove catastrophic due to combined impact forces. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported 39,345 U.S. traffic fatalities in 2024.

Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal, emphasized the necessity of independent investigation to preserve crucial evidence.

“Attorneys gather essential evidence to establish negligence,” said Bond. “Beyond police work, we re-interview witnesses, analyze scene evidence, and secure records from responsible parties to protect victims’ rights.”

INJURY CLAIM RIGHTS

Sally A. Lambert may have grounds to file a personal injury lawsuit following the investigation into the head-on collision.

“Injured victims often pursue claims to recover medical expenses, future treatment costs, lost income, and emotional distress,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal.

“Insurance companies frequently disregard victims’ accumulating financial burdens,” Bond added. “Our firm protects injured parties daily, ensuring insurers are held accountable for their clients’ negligent actions.”
