Ronald Lowe Injured After BMW Hit in Palm Beach Accident

PALM BEACH, FL, (September 26, 2026) – A 53-year-old Boynton Beach man was critically injured Saturday after his SUV was struck by another vehicle in Palm Beach.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Ronald Lowe was driving a BMW X3 when it was struck by a Dodge Charger driven by a 28-year-old woman at about 1:04 a.m. on Old Boynton Road.

The PBSO said the collision occurred just west of Calliandra Lane after the Dodge lost control. The Charger crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck the BMW.

Lowe and a passenger in the X3 both suffered serious injuries. A passenger in the Dodge was killed in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Every day, victims such as Mr. Lowe are injured in motor vehicle accidents due to the negligence of another driver.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there were an estimated 40,901 fatalities and more than 2.4 million injuries from motor vehicle traffic crashes in the U.S. in 2023.

As investigators work to determine the cause and liability of the crash, Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney and Managing Partner of Bond Legal, said it is imperative that a seasoned attorney conduct an independent investigation.

“In addition to the diligent work of law enforcement, an attorney can re-interview important witnesses, analyze any surveillance video from the scene of the crash, and obtain phone and texting records of the liable party,” said Bond, a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “Serving as an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately guide an injured victim and their family during this difficult time, as well as protect their legal rights and best interests.’’

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Ronald Lowe may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, noted that the stress and concern following a serious injury can be overwhelming and affect many areas of life, including family, work, finances, and overall quality of life.

“Although no amount of money can make up for a devastating injury, it is important that a victim is made aware of their rights and what they are entitled to by law,” Formica added. “The injured victim in this collision may be entitled to an injury claim, and they may seek recovery for damages including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
