CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Police are expected to release a full report after completing their investigation into the crash that claimed the life of Marcella Magdalena Leiter.

Candice Bond stated that incidents of this nature require an independent investigation by a qualified law firm to ensure critical evidence is preserved and the rights of the victim’s family are protected.

“In addition to the diligent work of law enforcement, an attorney can re-interview important witnesses, analyze any surveillance video from the scene of the crash, and obtain phone and texting records of the liable party,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and national analyst for Accident Injury News. “Serving as an advocate, an attorney can compassionately guide a grieving family through this difficult time while protecting their legal rights and best interests.”

Each year, approximately 36,000 people die and 1.9 million are injured in motor vehicle crashes in the United States. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, leading causes of fatal crashes include speeding, impairment from alcohol or drugs, lane violations, failure to yield, and distracted driving.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

The family members of Marcella Magdalena Leiter may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Families of victims may seek damages for loss of companionship, emotional distress, pain, and other losses resulting from a fatal crash.

“We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal.

He added that a wrongful death attorney will monitor the official investigation and help ensure the family’s rights are protected while seeking appropriate compensation for their loss.
