PUEBLO, CO (May 21, 2026) — Four people were seriously injured late Thursday night in a suspected DUI crash south of Lake Pueblo State Park, according to Pueblo police.
Authorities said the collision occurred around 11:20 p.m. at the intersection of Hog Farm Road and West State Highway 78. Investigators allege that a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by 54-year-old Jose Rojas-Fernandez struck a Jeep carrying four occupants.
Police said two of the victims were ejected from the Jeep during the crash. All four injured occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Rojas-Fernandez was arrested and booked into the Pueblo County Jail on multiple charges, including careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.
Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
