PORTLAND, OR, (Aug. 6, 2026) – A 47-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Portland.
According to police, Asare Kofi was hit by a vehicle at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 at Southeast Division Street and 101st Avenue. He was taken to the hospital following the crash, and investigators were notified on Wednesday that Kofi had died from his injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
