PLYMOUTH, MN, (July 06, 2026) – A 34-year-old Hopkins man was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in Plymouth, authorities said.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Jonathan Michael Brooks was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on State Highway 55 at approximately 12:24 p.m. when a Land Rover Range Rover changed lanes as it approached the Xenium Lane intersection. Authorities say the lane change caused the vehicles to collide, and the motorcycle came to a stop in the intersection.
Brooks, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries that have not been specified.
A 21-year-old Florida woman riding as a passenger on the motorcycle was also transported by ambulance to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Range Rover — a 30-year-old Edina man and a 50-year-old Chaska man — were not injured in the crash.
