CHARLOTTE, NC (May 18, 2026) — One person was injured Monday night in a collision involving a driver allegedly attempting to make a U-turn in Charlotte, according to police.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Hickory Grove Road near East W.T. Harris Boulevard. Investigators reported that a Kia Forte was struck by a Kia Soul driven by Roosevelt Davis III while Davis was allegedly attempting a U-turn.
The unidentified driver of the Kia Forte sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police have not said whether speed or impairment contributed to the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
