Noah Fisher dies in San Antonio wrong-way collision on Loop 410

SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 28, 2026) — A 19-year-old driver was killed in a three-vehicle wrong-way crash early Sunday morning on the Southwest Side of San Antonio, authorities said.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Noah Alec Fisher. Officials have not released the identity of the driver who was reportedly traveling the wrong way before the collision.

Authorities responded at approximately 3:20 a.m. to the area of Southwest Loop 410 near Medina Base Road after receiving reports of a vehicle traveling north in the southbound lanes.

Investigators said another unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while a third driver was evaluated by emergency medical services and cleared.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.

FATAL WRONG-WAY ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

The incident remains under investigation. Tragically, wrong-way crashes continue to occur across the country. According to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), approximately 400 people are killed each year in wrong-way collisions.

Driver error is the leading cause of these crashes. They can result from impaired driving, distracted driving, confusing roadway design, or driver disorientation.

Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said that in cases like this, it is essential to have an independent investigation conducted by a qualified law firm as soon as possible to help preserve critical evidence.

“In addition to reviewing the police report, an attorney will carefully examine all potential factors that may have contributed to the crash,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national analyst for Accident Injury News. “Your lawyer has the resources to retain expert witnesses, conduct driver background investigations, locate witnesses, and evaluate available insurance coverage. By serving as an advocate, an attorney can compassionately guide a grieving family while protecting their legal rights.”

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending results of the investigation, the family of Noah Alec Fisher may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Family members of wrongful death victims may seek damages for loss of love and companionship, funeral expenses, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident.

“The stress and sorrow can be extremely overwhelming after losing a loved one in an accident,” said Stefano Formica, Of Counsel at Bond Legal.

“We understand the tremendous hardships families are forced to endure after such a devastating loss, and protecting their rights is essential. A wrongful death lawyer will remain informed about the official investigation and help ensure that the family’s legal rights and best interests are fully protected,” Formica said.
