BLYTHE, CA (March 27, 2026) – Natalia Silva, 43, of Chino Hills, was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Blythe, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the incident occurred shortly after 5 a.m. on eastbound I-10 east of Mesa Drive. A Kia sedan reportedly left the roadway and struck a guardrail before coming to rest in the No. 1 lane.
A Volkswagen traveling in the same lane was unable to avoid the stopped vehicle and collided with it.
Silva, who was a passenger in the Kia, died at the scene.
Another passenger in the Volkswagen sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
