COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, (May 17, 2026) – A motorcycle crash early Sunday morning in Colorado Springs left one man dead and four others critically injured, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 12:20 a.m. to the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue after reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
Investigators said the motorcycle collided with a car that was making a left turn at the intersection. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as 43-year-old Jason Mullet. A passenger on the motorcycle and three occupants of the other vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
Police stated that speed was a contributing factor in the crash. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
