AGUA DULCE, TX, (April 09, 2026) — A 55-year-old woman sustained critical injuries Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash along State Highway 44 in Agua Dulce, authorities said.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the woman was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra operated by 59-year-old Miguel Marcos when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a highway sign at approximately 6:05 p.m.
Investigators noted that rainy conditions were present at the time of the crash and believe the motorcycle may have been traveling at an unsafe speed. The injured passenger was transported to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital in Alice for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.
