MOTORCYCLE CRASH INVESTIGATION

Drivers often collide with motorcycles because of driver error, speeding, inattention, or failing to see them.

Each year, approximately 84,000 motorcyclists are injured in accidents in this country. Thirty-five percent of vehicle-versus-motorcycle crashes involved a driver who failed to yield the right of way to a motorcyclist.

Candice Bond, an experienced motorcycle accident attorney, noted that in cases such as this, it is imperative to have an independent investigation of the crash conducted by a seasoned lawyer to protect a victim’s rights.

“Motorcyclists are arguably the most vulnerable motorists on the road, and several factors can play a role in crashes,” said Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national analyst with Accident Injury News. “Blind spots, inexperienced drivers, and distracted motorists often cause these types of collisions. An attorney has the resources to hire expert witnesses, conduct drivers’ background checks, locate witnesses to the crash, and review applicable insurance coverage, while carefully guiding a client through the legal process, vigorously protecting their legal rights and best interests.”

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Larry Mongar may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, noted that the stress and worry that follows a serious injury can be overwhelming and may disrupt many areas of life, including family, work, finances, and overall quality of life.

“Although no amount of money can make up for a devastating injury, it is important that a victim is aware of their rights and what they may be entitled to under the law,” Formica added. “The injured victim in this collision may be entitled to an injury claim and may seek recovery for damages including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
