TANEY, MO, (April 28, 2026) – Two women were seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 65 outside Hollister in Taney County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
Authorities said a 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it collided head-on with a 2007 Buick LaCrosse at approximately 12:15 p.m.
The 66-year-old driver of the Buick, a woman from Kissee Mills, sustained severe injuries and was transported to Cox South Medical Center for treatment. The 84-year-old driver of the Toyota was also seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by MSHP.
