FORT WORTH, Texas— A multi-vehicle accident in south Fort Worth killed three people and injured several others early April 5, officials confirmed.
Authorities identified 19-year-old Kianna White as one of the victims killed in the accident. The accident occurred around 4 a.m. at 700 W. Risinger Road and involved multiple vehicles. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene and transported several individuals to nearby hospitals.
Kianna was traveling with her 18-year-old sister, Kiarra White, who survived the accident but sustained critical injuries. Kiarra remains hospitalized in intensive care, while another occupant of the vehicle also died at the scene.
Police reported that three additional individuals were taken to hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. Two others were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released. A third unidentified victim died in the wreck.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office and police stated that the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
