Keith Ebert Hurt in Mountain Pine Rd Head-On Collision in Garland

Garland County, AR (July 1, 2026) — A 41-year-old Hot Springs Village man was injured in a head-on crash on Mountain Pine Road in Garland County on Tuesday, according to the Arkansas State Police.

Authorities said Keith Frederick Ebert was driving a GMC Yukon SUV southbound at approximately 5:30 a.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by a 57-year-old man, crossed the center line and struck his vehicle head-on.

Ebert was transported to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Silverado died as a result of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Arkansas State Police.

HEAD-ON CRASH INVESTIGATION

Head-on collisions rank among the most dangerous types of motor vehicle crashes because of the sheer force generated when two vehicles collide, often while traveling at high speeds.

While these crashes make up just two percent of all accidents, they’re responsible for roughly 10 percent of all motor vehicle fatalities nationwide. Injuries from head-on collisions tend to be severe, frequently including traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).

Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said that in situations like this, having an experienced lawyer conduct an independent investigation is essential to preserving evidence on behalf of the victim.

“An attorney can gather the necessary evidence to help demonstrate that a driver acted recklessly, which often requires pulling from a wide range of resources,” said Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “Acting as an advocate, an attorney can offer a grieving family compassionate support during such a difficult time, while protecting their legal rights and best interests and making sure a driver who disregards traffic laws is held accountable.”

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Keith Frederick Ebert may have grounds to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, pointed out that the anxiety and stress that follow a serious injury can be overwhelming, impacting nearly every part of life — from family and work to finances and overall well-being.

“While no financial settlement can undo the damage of a devastating injury, it’s important for a victim to understand their legal rights and what they may be owed under the law,” Formica added. “The person injured in this collision may be eligible to file an injury claim, potentially recovering damages for medical expenses, future medical treatment, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
