TULSA, OK, (May 09, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a collision at the intersection of S. Sheridan Road and E. 47th Street in Tulsa, according to police.
Authorities identified the victim as 46-year-old Justin Dye.
Investigators said the crash occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. when a 2024 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on Sheridan Road and collided with a passenger SUV making a left turn across the southbound lanes.
Police said Dye was ejected from the motorcycle upon impact and suffered critical injuries.
Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV, a 91-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Tulsa Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
