Beaumont, TX (August 14, 2026) — A 38-year-old man was killed Friday evening in a hit-and-run crash in Beaumont, according to police.
Authorities say Justin Balka was struck by a vehicle at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Washington Boulevard. The driver fled the scene following the crash, officials said. Balka was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation. The Beaumont Police Department said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
