Salt Lake City, UT – A 65-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle in a Salt Lake City crosswalk on October 3, according to police reports.
The incident occurred around 6:25 a.m. near 1950 W. 500 South. Jesse Marchant was walking in a crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
The Salt Lake City Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of the fatal collision.
