BORING, Ore. — A 40-year-old man died Monday afternoon in a crash between a motorcycle and box truck at a Clackamas County intersection.
Jeremy Alexander Taylor of Canby was riding his motorcycle when the collision occurred just before 3 p.m. The crash happened at the intersection of S.E. Orient Drive and S.E. Joette Drive.
Bystanders immediately began performing CPR on Taylor at the scene. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of the serious motorcycle accident. Deputies and EMS personnel arrived and continued life-saving efforts from the bystanders. Despite their efforts, Taylor did not survive his injuries from the collision.
The box truck driver remained at the scene following the crash. Authorities said the driver is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Taylor’s death. Preliminary findings suggest speed and intoxication were not factors in the crash.
