SAN BERNARDINO, CA — June 26, 2026 — A 49-year-old man died Friday afternoon after his Vespa scooter was struck by a passenger vehicle in the Del Rosa neighborhood of San Bernardino, according to police.
Jason Rowland was riding through the intersection of Highland and Del Rosa avenues at approximately 2:30 p.m. when a Subaru Outback struck his scooter. First responders arrived at the scene, but Rowland was pronounced dead. The fatal collision remains under active investigation by authorities.
