BATON ROUGE, LA, (May 16, 2026) – A 33-year-old man lost his life late Saturday night following a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a truck in East Baton Rouge Parish.

TWO-VEHICLE CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

The case remains under investigation.

Each year, approximately 36,000 people lose their lives and another 1.9 million suffer injuries in motor vehicle crashes across the United States.

As authorities continue examining the cause and liability factors connected to this collision, Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney and Managing Partner of Bond Legal, stressed the importance of conducting an independent investigation as quickly as possible to preserve evidence and protect the rights of victims and their families.

“In addition to the diligent work of law enforcement, an attorney can re-interview key witnesses, review surveillance footage from the crash scene, and obtain phone and texting records of the liable party,” said Bond, Managing Partner with Bond Legal.

“Time is critical in cases such as this, and it is important that evidence is gathered and reviewed efficiently.”

“An accident reconstruction team is sometimes necessary to help determine exactly what occurred. These resources can play a vital role in helping clients pursue compensation for damages or losses resulting from a collision,” added Bond, who is a national legal analyst for Accident Injury News.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the investigation, the family of Jarren Williams may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Families of wrongful death victims may seek compensation for loss of companionship, emotional distress, pain and suffering, and other damages following a tragic accident such as this.

“We understand that losing a loved one is not only emotionally devastating but can also create significant financial hardship,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “If you have lost a loved one due to another party’s negligence, it is important to contact an experienced wrongful death attorney to obtain the guidance needed to pursue justice.”

“Families coping with the loss of a loved one are often overwhelmed by the legal procedures designed to protect their rights. An attorney can serve as a compassionate and valuable resource during this difficult time while helping ensure that surviving family members receive the restitution they deserve.”
