Jamison Mobley injured in Jeep crash in Franklin County FL

FRANKLIN, FL, (April 06, 2026) – A Georgia teenager was seriously injured Monday in a crash that killed three of his classmates during a spring break trip in Franklin County.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Jamison Mobley, 17, of Alpharetta, was among four Horizon Christian Academy students traveling along Florida Highway 65 when their Jeep left the roadway and struck a tree.

The collision caused the vehicle to catch fire.

Good Samaritans who arrived moments after the crash were able to pull Mobley from the front passenger seat before the Jeep became engulfed in flames.

Mobley was airlifted to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, where he remained hospitalized with serious injuries.

Three other occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

CRASH INVESTIGATION

Each year, millions of people are injured in traffic crashes across the United States, many suffering life-altering consequences. In 2023 alone, approximately 2.44 million individuals were injured in motor vehicle accidents, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

While authorities continue to investigate the cause and liability, Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal, emphasized the need for an independent investigation conducted by an experienced attorney.

“In addition to law enforcement efforts, an attorney can re-interview key witnesses, review surveillance video from the crash site, and obtain phone and text records of the responsible party,” said Bond, a national analyst for Accident Injury News.

“Time is critical in cases such as this, and the victim’s family must ensure that evidence is reviewed thoroughly and without delay,” Bond added.

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

Pending the results of the investigation, Jamison Mobley may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Stefano Formica, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, explained that the stress and uncertainty following a serious injury can affect every aspect of a victim’s life, including family, work, finances, and overall quality of life.

“It is important for victims to retain an attorney when filing a personal injury claim so they have someone to negotiate with insurance companies on their behalf,” Formica said.

“Insurance providers often attempt to settle claims quickly for less than their full value. An attorney will advocate strongly for the victim to ensure fair treatment and appropriate compensation,” he added.
