LAC LA BELLE, WI, (March 25, 2026) — A 10-year-old child was killed in a rear-end crash early Wednesday morning in Lac La Belle, according to police.
Authorities said Jack Oudenhoven was a passenger in an SUV that was struck from behind by another SUV driven by a 34-year-old at approximately 7 a.m. on Highway 67 at McMahon Road.
Oudenhoven was fatally injured in the crash. His two siblings, who were also in the vehicle, sustained injuries.
Family members described Jack as a smart, well-liked and athletic fourth grader who loved school, teachers and friends.
The crash remains under investigation.
