ALA MOANA, HI (April 7, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run collision crash in the Ala Moana area of Honolulu.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hopaka Street struck a parked car near Piikoi and Pensacola streets at approximately 8:55 p.m. before hitting a pedestrian.
The vehicle then collided with another parked car and fled the scene.
The injured pedestrian, a 43-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
Four individuals, including three children, were inside the first parked vehicle but were not seriously hurt.
Police are searching for the driver responsible.
