BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A two-vehicle accident on April 25 left one driver injured and another tragically deceased three days later.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jog Road and N. Oriole Boulevard. A 2019 Toyota Camry collided with a 2016 Dodge Caravan after the Camry failed to yield while making a left turn.
Henry Friedman, 64, was driving the Dodge Caravan when the accident happened. Emergency responders transported him to Delray Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the Toyota Camry, an 84-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, succumbed to her injuries on April 28.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division continues to investigate the accident.

Each year, motor vehicle crashes in this country kill roughly 36,000 people and injure 1.9 million more.
